A British inventor - Bruce Bedlam is going to New York this week,
challenging the American people to try and solve the Bedlam Cube.
Bruce is going to launch the Puzzle on 5th Ave at the world famous
toy store - FAO Schwarz.
The Bedlam company is launching a brand new USA Bedlam Cube which
is certain to go down well with the people in the Big Apple! He
will be in-store during the launch over the weekend of the 12th
& 13th November and will be signing Bedlam cubes for customers.
The New 3-D Puzzle, claimed by experts to be the Rubiks cube of
the 21st Century, is already creating Bedlam around Europe after
it was launched last year in Hamleys Toy Store in London. Its
premise is simple players must fit the 13 different geometric
pieces into a transparent box. The reality is that its very addictive
to play, but extremely difficult to solve. Since its launch in
Europe its rapid growth has been enormous, and the cube is fast
earning cult status as 'the hardest and most addictive of any
other 3-D Puzzle in the world!
Despite the fact that many, many thousands are in circulation
already - so far only 63 people have come forward and claimed
to have solved the cube, which has exactly 19,186 different correct
solutions! As yet no-one in America or from America has been able
to solve it!
British Puzzle Genius Bruce Bedlam stated "I'm here to challenge
the whole of America to take on the ultimate personal challenge
and try and solve the Bedlam Cube! When I invented it, I wanted
a puzzle with the best play value of anything ever before and
one where players complete on a equal level! - which means anyone
can do it!"
He added; "To be here in New York launching the Bedlam cube
at FAO Schwarz on 5th Ave is like a dream come true and the store
has so much history and a high profile - its a perfect partnership
and very exciting!"
Danny Bamping, the Devon based entrepreneur and Managing Director
of the Bedlam Puzzle company stated;
"The Bedlam Cube appeals to people of all age groups and
research has shown that through stimulated play, children and
adults learn how to plan and solve problems."
He continued; "Play also encourages people to develop spatial
awareness and to use imagination and creativity. Players often
get so close to solving the Bedlam Cube they just dont want to
put it down - much like a good book! It's hugely addictive and
has been compared to playing an endless game of 3-D Tetris which
everyone can play!"
The Bedlam Cube is certainly unique in many ways. Every time it's
attempted it's different, it's a British invention which has absolutely
no packaging. It's also available in a whole range of colours,
silver and a new wooden version (made from sustainable forests).
The Bedlam cube will be on sale exclusively at FAO Schwarz on
5th Ave until the New Year, after then the company will be launching
the Bedlam Cube globally in early 2006.
However the 'real' home of the product over the last year has
been its website - where it is available direct from the company
to the whole world!
